In a memorable match to round out the regular season in the Ontario Australian Football League, the Ottawa Swans matched the Hamilton Wildcats every step of the way in a tough game of football. Hamilton won the match, but the Swans left the field with heads held high. |

In a league comprised of the Wildcats, Demons and Eagles amongst others, the Swans players, supporters and officials are often asked, why the Swans? Surely a Swan cannot compete against a Wildcat! The Ottawa Swans outplayed High Park Demons in a thrilling match at Rideau Carleton Raceway to notch their first win of the 2010 campaign in style. In his last match for the Swans, club legend Corey Bowen kicked five goals to thrill the crowd and end his career on a high.
