RND5 Preview Vs Central Blues Print E-mail

This week is an absolute footy fiesta in the Nation's capital.  First up the Swans host the Central Blues in what promises to be a rematch of our Canada Day 2007 clash. Following this game sees the Blues reserves take on the Quebec Saints. Footy, footy and more footy.

The last few weeks have seen a steady improvement in the Swans overall play.  Periods of solid football in each quarter are becoming more regular which is a testament to how quickly many of the new players are learning the game.
That said there is a lot of hard work to be done and Ottawa view the game against the Blues as an opportunity to deliver a consistent brand of football that demonstrates our pride, passion and hard work for the great game of Aussie rules.

On a somber note the Swans have lost their assistant coach and most consistent player to date in Corey Bowen for the season (broken hip).  We wish him well in his recovery and hope to see him down at the ground on saturday cheering on the Swans.

See you on saturday - 2pm kickoff Swans v Blues followed by 4pm Saints v Blues Reserves
